Nutrition Labeling Workshop In view of the Legislative Council has passed the nutrition Labeling regulation, the Association has requested the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to organize a workshop particularly targeted to the health food industry on July 25, 08. The Workshop is divided into three parts: (1) Presentation on the regulation contents; (2) Participants were broken into groups and given mock nutrition labels to work out the correct labeling; (3) Q&A to clarify issues participants did not understand. Hong Kong Health Food Delegates Trade Development Tour to Zhongshan & Guangzhou 2008 July 3rd and 4th, 24 members joined the trade development tour to Zhongshan and Guangzhou organized by the Association and Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Natural Product Expo Asia 2008 Being supporting organization of the Expo, the Association has set up a booth in the exhibition to promote the Association and its members during the period of June 26-28. There were sessions of Industry Forum every day at the Expo. The organizer has invited two officers from mainland China to speak on June 27. Hong Kong Science Park Visit 2008 On May 23 2008, about 20 representatives have joined the visit to the Hong Kong Science Park organized by the Association.
