Department of Health requires vitamin or mineral containing health food to be registered as pharmaceutical product before selling. Small and medium enterprises, in general, are not familiar with the registration process and requirements in detail. Therefore, the Association has requested the Department to speak on the subject. The two hours plus talk was held in the lecture theater of the Public Health Laboratory Centre on 25 April 2007.
