12 May Talk on Health Food Industry

Mr. Calvin Chan, Vice President of HKHFA has represented the Association to deliver a Talk on Health Food Industry for students graduating from Higher Diploma in Food and Nutritional Science of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) in Shatin campus on 12th May 2014. Besides introducing the Association, the Talk is analyzed the current situation of Health Food Industry in Hong Kong market, including the consumers’ feedback and preference on health foods, its regulations, Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (UMAO) by showing some examples in the market, so that to bring up a clearer picture to the students for their consideration of future career in health food industry.
