Vitafoods Asia 2014 Exhibition

This international exhibition has been in Hong Kong for the 4th year at Asia World Expo during the period of 3 -4 September, 2014. This year, HKHFA continued to be the supporting organization of this expo. We had an exhibition booth (booth no.: 637) set up that attracted visitors from local, China and Europe. They come to this expo for sourcing ingredients, OEM manufacturers and finished products as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the nutraceutical market. Mr. Calvin Chan, Vice President of HKHFA has represented the Association to deliver a presentation about “Regulatory Harmonization in Hong Kong” during the Conference on 4 September. He also joined the discussion panel with Ms. Jenny Li from KH Law (Shanghai office) and Dr. Chin-Kun Wang from Chung San Medical University (Taiwan) after the presentation, mainly to answer the enquires about regulations in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong arising from the audience. There were many questions about health food regulations, hence, this may be a hot topic in coming days.
