Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) is a formal document required by some foreign countries as an evidence of an orally consumed product which is freely sold in Hong Kong. Products that are registered by Department of Health, the certificate of product registration can serve the same purpose more conveniently. Currently, Kong Kong has no specific regulation for health food. Being the only trade Association representing the local industry, it takes up the responsibility in issuing CFS to freely sold locally health food products based on the evaluation of genuine information provided by the applicant.
