Organized by the MCMIA and co-organized by the HKPC, the “Greater Bay Area Health Industry Market Policy Seminar” was held on May 9, 2023, and officials and experts from different health industries in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Mainland were invited. The health industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was discussed, and information on policies, standards, and systems was exchanged.
On the day of the seminar, it was a great honor to invite Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Mr. Li Yingsheng, a representative of the National People’s Congress of the Hong Kong District and Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Associations, to deliver speeches. Mr. Clement Lee, Secretary of the Hong Kong Health Food Association also attended the meeting on behalf of the association and shared “Hong Kong health food entering the mainland market development and opportunities” at the meeting.
In recent years, the general public has begun to pay attention to health, and the demand for health food has become more and more intense. Based on the rights and interests of members and the industry, the association communicates with officials and experts from different relevant departments to enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s industry and lay a foundation for the future development of the Greater Bay Area.
