On April 10, 2024, the Hong Kong Health Food Association and JD Hong Kong’s agent, Shopuzzle, jointly organized the “JD International Health Products and Traditional Chinese Medicine Cross-border E-commerce Seminar (Hong Kong Station).” The purpose of this seminar was to provide Hong Kong health food companies with more opportunities and strategies to expand into the mainland market. Leveraging the power of the renowned e-commerce platform JD, they are dedicated to promoting the entry of Hong Kong and overseas brands and quality products into the mainland market.

During the seminar, Ms. Marcela Yeung, the Senior Brand Strategist of JD International, conducted an in-depth analysis of trends in the health industry and discussed how to create business opportunities based on domestic market demands. In addition, Mr. Terry Chiu, Vice President of the Hong Kong Health Food Association, shared the development trends of health food. He emphasized that through the association, the industry can voice opinions to authorities and legislators and gain more resources and information, such as product packaging, verification, and trade documentation.
