04 Mar Seminar on Cross-Border Trade Issues
On February 19, 2025, the Hong Kong Health Food Association, in collaboration with the Standing Committee Member of the Haitang District Committee of Sanya City, the Secretary of the Business Bureau, the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association,The Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong Ltd, and Natural er, successfully held a seminar on “Cross-Border Trade Related Issues.”
The seminar delved into the latest opportunities and support measures in the cross-border import industry. The Sanya Airport Customs provided detailed explanations of the bonded warehouse and bonded warehouse B functions and discussed customs procedures for cross-border e-commerce. A tax consultancy shared insights on the tax challenges faced by businesses in their operations, while the Sanya branch of China Everbright Bank introduced cross-border trade settlement and related financial policies.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the leaders, customs officials, and related personnel who took the time to attend this meeting. They addressed various questions regarding imports to Hainan and cross-border taxation, enhancing everyone’s understanding of cross-border trade and laying the foundation for future cooperation.
