Towards Omnichannel Retail: Bringing Products into the Digital Age

On August 15, 2025, the Hong Kong Health Food Association, HKTVmall, and GS1 jointly held a seminar titled “Towards Omnichannel Retail: Bringing Products into the Digital Age” at HKTV’s headquarters. With the increasing diversification of consumer shopping behaviors, effectively integrating online and offline channels has become a key focus for the industry.

At the seminar, HKTVmall representatives provided an in-depth introduction to the digital retail ecosystem, sharing successful cases and marketing strategies to help brands accurately reach their target consumers. Mr. Terry Chiu, Vice President of the Hong Kong Health Food Association, provided a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the health food industry and its digital transformation strategies, exploring industry regulations and consumer trends. Mr. Lincoln Chan, Chief Membership Officer of GS1 Hong Kong, introduced GS1 barcode technology and how standardization can improve supply chain efficiency.

Highlights of the event included one-on-one professional consultations with e-commerce consultants, a tour of HKTV’s automated logistics distribution center and HKTVLive Shopping Studio, and sharing sessions with existing merchants.
