Natural Product Expo Asia 2008

Being supporting organization of the Expo, the Association has set up a booth in the exhibition to promote the Association and its members during the period of June 26-28. There were sessions of Industry Forum every day at the Expo. The organizer has invited two officers from mainland China to speak on June 27. Mr Lou Ping Hua, Chief of Department of Nutrition, Food and Drug Administration of Guangdong Province and the Department’s supervisor, Mr Ye Gaolong gave talks respectively on the current situation and future development of the health food market, and the status before and after the implementation of the Health Food Regulation in China. While Dr. Ho Yuk Yin, Consultant (Community Medicine) of the Centre for Food Safety, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, was invited to speak on the new Nutrition Information Regulation on June 28.
