The seminar was successfully held on July 11, focusing on key strategies for health supplement companies to expand into the Southeast Asian market. It attracted numerous industry professionals who came together to discuss industry trends and practical experiences.

The event featured several speakers sharing valuable insights. First, Mr. Terry Lau, Cross-Border Recruitment Manager at LAZADA, provided an in-depth analysis of the operational models of Southeast Asian e-commerce platforms, revealing opportunities in emerging markets. Mr. Terry Chiu, Vice President of the Hong Kong Health Food Association, presented on “The Journey of Hong Kong-Made Health Foods,” vividly sharing the complete process from product development to market launch, highlighting the competitive advantages of local manufacturing. Mr. Timothy Cheng, Chairman of the Association’s Internal Affairs Committee, offered practical guidance on the application process for Free Sale Certificates, providing clear directions for companies to comply with regulations for overseas expansion, thereby opening up more opportunities. Meanwhile, Ms. Doris Law, a member of the Regulatory Committee, elaborated on the regulations surrounding health foods in Hong Kong. Finally, Mr. Lincoln Chan, Chief Membership Affairs Director of GS1 Hong Kong, introduced the GS1HK second-generation barcode system and its role in supporting global business strategies.
