The theme of the year was \ufe59Recent Advances in Food Science\ufe5a. The Association was invited to be a co-sponsor of the conference, which was held on 3 November 2007 full day in the Rayson Huang Theatre, the University of Hong Kong. The Secretary for Food &amp; Health, Dr. York Chow, SBS, JP, delivered the opening address. The speakers are scholar from the US, mainland China and local universities. They brought to the conference new findings and new concept in food science.
