Products that are registered by Department of Health, the certificate of product registration can serve the same purpose more conveniently. 教授專家舉證維他命及抗氧化劑有益人體健康 近日有報導指，長期攝取過量的維他命及抗氧化物恐會助長癌細胞增生，令廣大市民感到困惑。長久以來，抗氧化物被認為有防癌及抗衰老作用，對身體有莫大裨益，市民平日飲食也會特別挑選有抗氧化功效的蔬果或食品，不少人亦有服用補充劑習慣。有人擔心，若依據研究所指的抗氧化物攝取量，每日進食多幾個奇異果或幾份西蘭花，便已有致癌風險，為此香港中文大學內科及藥物治療學系湯寧信教授、香港健康產品慈善協會主席黃家和先生以及香港保健食品協會榮譽會長蔡節禮先生就有關報導作出回應。 Details

政府擬禁奶粉營養聲稱　4成人憂選購時缺乏資訊 – 星島日報 政府於本年7月，建議禁止3歳以下嬰幼兒配方產品作營養及健康聲稱。香港保健食品協會、香港嬰幼兒營養聯會及香港供應商協會就此在10月委託嶺南大學公共管治研究部進行電話民意調查，訪問過千名市民，當中近百分之8家中有3歳以下兒童。 調查結果顯示，近6成4受訪者贊成只禁止失實聲稱，僅2成3贊成禁止任何聲稱；亦有6成4市民認為政府可參考外國做法，設立審核機制禁止失實聲稱。對於禁止任何聲稱會否使消費者於選購時缺乏資訊，同意及反對的意見則各佔約4成。 香港嬰幼兒營養聯會主席鍾志偉認為不應「一竹篙打一船人」，促請政府訂立機制審核有關聲稱。 香港保健食品協會會長蔡節禮認為，「一刀切」 禁止任何營養及健康聲稱將大大打撃業界的科研意欲，甚至迫使部分品牌退出香港市場，為消費者及業界造成雙輸局面。 Details
