Health Food Industry “Trade Talk” The Association was invited to co-organize with Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) the “Health Food Industry Traders Meet” on 22 May 2006. Guidelines on the Undesirable Medical Adverstisements (Amendment) Ordinance 2005 Meeting The Hong Kong Health Food Association has invited the Pharmaceutical Service, Department of Health to provide a talk on the captioned Amendment on 15 March 2006. Mrs. Mary Cheng, Senior Pharmacist has presented details of the implementation of the new amended regulation and its guidelines. Adulterated Products Talk HKHFA has the pleasure to have invited the Pharmaceutical Service, Department of Health to conduct an educational talk on “Adulterated Products”. A number of cases have been detected lately. Department of Health had warned consumers and required total recall of the concerned products. ICMCM 2005 Exhibition HKHFA has set up an exhibition booth at the International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) during the period 11 to 15 August 2005. Over 10,000 pieces of the HKHFA health index card and 3,000 healthy menu booklets published by Department of Health were distributed to visitors.
