3rd International Symposium on Functional Foods

The international symposium was held from April 3 to 5, 2008 under the auspice of the Department of Applied Biology & Chemical Technology, Faculty of Applied Science and Textiles of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Association was one of the supporting organizations. The main theme was “Health Benefits of Plant Polyphenols” focusing on plant source ingredients like tea, soy, cocoa, olive oil, and wine. Several members together have donated over a thousand pieces of small gifts to the symposium goers.
